Meet the Team

The past few months have been very eventful here at SABBEX. We’ve moved to our new home at the Elliot Basin, a working marina in the Port of Cape Town, and our staff has increased in order to keep up with demand. As a result, we’d like to introduce you to our new, expanding and dynamic team.

Veda Raubenheimer – CEO

At the helm of SABBEX sits Veda Raubenheimer, a dynamic and resourceful leader. Driven by a passion for boating and a dedication to her cause, she manages the company with effortless aplomb and is a formidable force in the boatbuilding industry.


Roshin Schmidt – Office Manager
Roshin brings her ample sense of humour and excellent organisational skills to a demanding and diverse job, which has her overseeing office affairs, and managing a litany of projects, both large and small.

Robert Shone – Marketing
Robert heads up the Marketing Department and is responsible for overseeing market research projects, online brand development and PR endeavours. From a branding and advertising background,  Rob is tasked with the responsibility of growing the SABBEX brand, and improving member sign-up and awareness.
