CTBi
The Cape Town Boat Building and Technology Initiative (CTBi) was developed as an industry body, responsible for the promotion and development of the local boating community. CTBi has long been at the forefront of shaping and driving South African boatbuilding and boating, and is regarded as the industry’s informative hub. CTBi has over 100 members to date, many of whom produce world class vessels.
SABBEX works closely with the CTBi and shares office facilities. This allows close communication between the local and export wings and ensures that business strategies are well aligned.

Department of Trade & Industry (dti)
The Department of Trade & Industry (dti) provides leadership to the South African economy through its knowledge of economic opportunities and potential, and its contribution to ASGISA. The Department also acts as a catalyst for the transformation and development of the economy and responds to the challenges and opportunities of its citizens, in order to support the government's economic goals of growth, employment and equity. ICOMIA
ICOMIA (International Council of Marine Industry Associations) has been the focal point of the world’s recreational boating industry since 1967.
ICOMIA’s multiple committees address all the issues challenging the boating industry and has a truly global membership, of which SABBEX is proud to be a part.
IMCI
IMCI (International Marine Certification Institution) is a European Union based, independent, non-profit organisation committed to adding value to worldwide recreational craft industry by assessing compliance of companies, products, services and experts with the highest recognised standards of quality and safety.
TIKZN (Trade & Investment Kwa-Zulu Natal)
TIKZN is an official trade and investment agency of the province whose vision is to position the province of KwaZulu-Natal as the premier investment destination and the leader in international trade.
WESGRO
